One of my guilty pleasures is doowop/motown the "oldies".
Its the only thing I listen to other than anything hard and heavy, and over the last few years my wife and I have gone to shows with my parents that feature some of these musicians, the Drifters, Temptations(who is left of the originals anyway) and its sad to see so few of these musical pioneers are still among us. Now we're down one more.
This song, especially for its era, is one of the all-time angry angsty scorned women anthems.
RIP.
