OK. Brief moment of excitement here.
Husband and I are having a few drinks, laughing at Bill Maher, kicking back.
And we hear voices outside. Radio voices.
And we see lights flickering, and then brighter lights. And more voices.
Finally we go to check things out from our living room windows and realize there are five cop cars parked a few houses down from us. They've stopped this van, all cop cars lights flashing, and are ordering the inhabitants out, one by one.
And the brighter lights flickering happen to be a helicopter going overhead, splaying the lights on the scene. Back and forth.
Very fun.
We watched as the people in the van came out. It looked like a damn circus car, they just kept coming out.
And the terse ordered instructions from the megaphoned cops - damn. I imagine it was a bit frightening to the inhabitants of the van - it certainly would have scared me.
So - I got the camcorder and filmed it all through the window -
Maybe I can sell it to the news station tomorrow -
