" Backstage at the Bakeoff"

I offer up both a title and a story idea. Unfortunately, they don't match.
So either two takers , one for each, or someone who likes the challenge of modifying one to fit the other?

I was on a magazine site ( statrts with S, rhymes with " late"), reading about the Great American Pie Bake off.

I wondered " gee I wonder what happens Bakestage at the Bakeoff?". Thus the title was born.

Stuck in my head though is a ( possibly lousy?) story plot involving either a competitor who accidentally spikes her pie with an aphrodisiac ( causing the judges to start stripping and sexing on stage), or the same concept, but with it being sabotage. Doesn't match the title though.

Anyway, its a slow day on Story Ideas and if anyone is inspired, bake us up a tasty treat

actually, I look at the forum index for exactly a year ago for anything that is so old it can be new again. When I started posting here, other people now departed ( *sob*) took care of it. Helps spice up the forum if it's slow.

spiking w/ aphrodisiac? c'mon, sirhugs, you've got better and more original stuff in you than that, i know it.

what about this: it's a bakeoff, yes, but a complex web of relationships and past histories, under the heat of competition, forges in the crucible of pressure a series of quid pro quos that lead to titillating results?
