You know the concept: two people fuck in the back seat of a moving car, while the driver remains oblivious. Most of the stories deals with incest or cheating, so the couple obviously doesn't want the other person to catch them. I find this slyness hot, but incest part... not so much.

What other scenarios are suitable for the concept? I mean mostly other reasons than incest for the couple to avoid detection? I think about fucking beside one's parent or boss, what is there more?

One scenario that appeared in my mind.

Two business partners - a man and a woman - are moving their office. As a helper, a son of the former joins them, and together they pack the car to the fulness: only two spots remains, driver's and behind that. As the partners know each other for a long time, they conclude that the woman should sit on the son's lap. The rest... is history.

Additional points: maybe the son has a crush on the woman, or she has crush or him. Or maybe they're secretly dating and gets frisky

The driver could be spouse or parent of one of the participants (most likely, but not necessarily, of the female participant). Or(/and?) her boss, or perhaps both work for him/her. Or be a teacher/educator (that perhaps may bounce the age rule, but the other scenarios of this are rising it too).

Neither of those scenarios require the participants to be related, it's only may be marginally harder to establish their "innocent" siting on ones lap as acceptable without admitting they are a couple in progress.

The car is a smallish SUV or wagon, lets say Volvo XC70 AWD, the backseat is partly folded to accommodate a folding aluminum stair, also there's pro GPS base station, cases with lasers, geodesic equipment, tripods for the same, provisioning for the day, etc, etc. (Yes, I know it would be far more logical for the stairs to be on the roof, but...)

Probably not the first sex between John and Baiba (who wants his baby by this point, then). Robert is fully aware, but pretend to be blind and deaf selectively -- also not a first, and John is aware Robert is aware, Baiba probably is, but pretend that she's not. Paul himself may or may not be aware what's going on, but everyone pretend he is oblivious and try to maintain intellectual discussion (although he probably may admit that he is in fact infertile a while later, with John's daughter already running around). John's girlfriend is not there, but everyone knows he has a steady one, and yes, he has her cautious approval too.

I do sometimes wonder whether I have some kind of more elevated threshold for believing in a suggested scenario than most! I often refuse to let what I see as an obvious and major obstacle to credibility just be brushed aside in what seems a rush to get to the fuck.

I'm with you there. For a writer deliberately to gloss over glaring problems with "obstacles to credibility" is a no-no... it sends any reader with brains off to look for better stuff elsewhere, rolling his eyes as he goes. It happens very often in submitted stories on Lit... which probably tells you something.
