not too early nor too late to write a story with a back to school theme. A few of the many variations:

• a new teacher is initiated in the staff room
• a mom and dad meet dropping off their kids and start an affair

New school year and the soccer mom's...a little of competition and FOMO could trigger something kinky.

I would go where literature meets life.

38, as a single father waiting for your kid to get out of school. A mother of around 25 starts a conversation. If you were younger you would think she's interested. Now it is just casual conversation.
