Hello all, I'm back :)

We've (hubby, daughter and I) had a lovely time on our holidays. We actually managed to sit on the beach for an hour or so on 4 consecutive days -yes, in England and no, it wasn't raining :D It wasn't bikini weater though, I had a scarf hat and coat on each time -though I did catch the sun the other day :)

So, have you missed me? :)

So EL, what did you do there and where are the pictures??????????? :)

Well I ate Jaconelli's ice creams (the best in the world), sat on the beach, picked up lots of conkers, rode a miniture train, played crazy golf, walked about a million miles up and down hill, trawled charity shops, bought some lovely clothes on sale and generally did touristy things and throughly enjoyed myself. Pics are all on hubs pooter which is still in scarborough with hubs :D

Oh and my wonderful hisband bought me a gorgeous necklace..it's a little rose, because I am his Erotic English Rose -awwwww, sweet man. :)

Sounds like a great time...

Welcome back.... yes you were missed.... :rose:

You mean you were within spitting distance of us & didn't drop in for tea?! ;)

We love Scarborough, & go there most Bank Holidays, usually manage a weekend there every year too (we were there last month in fact). Have to agree about Jaconelli's, can't beat real Italian ice cream (even if it's made by Yorkshire Italians ;) )

Jammies -I don't think i did much sinning on the beach, but i might be mistaken ;)

LL- ahh yes, you're over that way aren't you? Did you enjoy the sunny spells? We did. :D

Jaconellis is....superlative -I don't understand why people would buy ice cream from anywhere else. I love a lemon top myself ;)

I suspect the recent sunny spells are the last we'll get this year :(

We had good weather when we were there last month (and had lemon tops too :D ), but it was windy, so that kept the temperature down.

It's just over 40 miles from York to Scarborough, so it's close (Americans would consider it to be next door, with the distances people can travel over there!).

Edit: Just been looking at the pics on the Victoria Blisse site & realised that the one with the pirate was taken at Scarborough (couldn't really tell when it was av-sized!)

It's always windy at scarborough -but i like that, it's refreshing. :D Lemontops rule!

And yes, my Pirate friend and I met at Scarborough Harbour...though he'd taken off for warmer climes by the time we arrived last week!
