*gigglehugs all the awesome girls and the sexy, respectful guys*

I'd like to jiggle all y'all's sexy boobs, but before that, let's get to some cool mixology!

Yesterday, a friend of mine made a new drink for me called a "whiskey sour". So delish! Here's the recipe:

1/3 cup bourbon whiskey
1/3 cup lemon juice
1/2 cup simple syrup

Throw that stuff together, and shake your groove thang.

*giggles and grabs the sexy boobs of everyone that tries this recipe*

How old are you?

I use sour mix in my whiskey sours.
and Amaretto instead of whiskey.
and I omit the sour mix.

But that's just me. :D

Cut that :devil:ut!

Lose the ice, Nancy. It's time to neaten that shit up.

Depends on the whiskey. Ice for bourbons and Canadians. No ice for Irish and a drip or two of distilled water for scotch. Least that's how I do it. Most of the time i leave ice out of Canadian whiskeys too. The cold brings out the sweetness in bourbon I think.

I'm a recovering alcoholic, so, no.

Such a character! Tell you what, we could use a sexy, respectful man up in this joint. You owe me an electronic mail, so we can shoot the sizzle. I've got some bitchin' recipes to toss your way.

I only opened this thread because of the use of the word "awesomesauce." And what I found was shitty thread with a bunch of "giggle" nonsense that enrages me.

Giggle has never been used in a good way, ever.

What's your email addy?

Let's be clear, a proper sour recipe is as follows -

.75 oz. fresh squeezed lemon juice
.75 oz. simple syrup
1.5 oz bourbon

Add ice, shake, strain, and serve in a rocks glass with fresh ice and cherry garnish.

Martinis on the rocks make my skin crawl.
