Awaiting Approval

I have had a story "pending" approval for almost two weeks. I have one published, and the approval process took about two (business) days. I can see that additional people appear to be reading it (# of views is slowly increasing), but I have no feedback and I'm neither accepted nor rejected. What is the process and how long should it take normally?

Marty, it usually takes around 5 days, but each time you check your story (i.e. each time you hit the link that says 'pending'), your story is sent to the bottom of the pile again. That could explain the delay. (If so, stop it! )

Also, if the category is non-consent, it may take some more time, because Laurel has to go through it more carefully.
