KeithD saw a bashing where there is none. Just read the posts of the thread and you'll see there is no bashing. That's sensitive, seeing harm where there is none.
This thread is actually a celebration of a bunch of sex crazed........right. Where were we?
How does that scare the hell out of you? Anyone can do it, you take all the horrible things in the news and anything you can think of and you make a person like it, give them a reason or no reason for doing it, and have them do it. Done.
Your brother being queer has nothing to do with or excuse your homophobia.(Joking, I never liked 'phobia' being added to that word. It implies fear, which probably makes people who dislike it even more angry about it than they already are).
That's over the top roleplay. It's easy to get into anyone's head, if you can't then you're trying to hard or not enough or blatantly turning the 'process' into a needlessly complicated piece of performance art. I've written dark, twisted, maligned, and all kinds of depraved characters, been complimented them, not once did I have to take a shower, drop a Xanax, and tell myself, 'this isn't real. This isn't me.' - That makes for a good story though, a little over acting never hurt anyone I guess. I find people who are unable to mimic others without feeling like a victim to be odd.
Each to their own, I'm not going to give you shit. If that's how it feels to you, then that's how it feels. I don't understand the drama of it, but I don't have to. I'll take your word for it though. It's your mind.
This thread isn't picking on any category. It's a thread that asks, 'What wouldn't you write in," not "Please bash the category you don't like."
Fuck, this is a sensitive world.
But there is a difference, and that's the thing. You're creating an argument where there is none. So, 'mind-your-own business,' before your argument takes over the thread any more than it has or maybe that's your intention.
Not even close Yukon. You're taking my words and doing what you like with them.

Edit: Now, back to the thread topic of 'What category don't you want to post in.'
If anyone wants a discussion with me about sensitivity (Yukon) my pms are open.
The ones I didn't plan on hitting were:
Fanfic/Celebrities (Edit: I actually have one idea for a celebrity story that I'll probably never write) but that idea came randomly while thinking of something else.

Non-English (even though one person in a fit of rage asked if English was actually my first language. It was reasonable though, I was missing a lot of words, like someone plucked them from my final draft without telling me).
I've no problem writing gay male (I haven't in detail) but if I did, I wouldn't consider that any more a fantasy than writing a character who eats people.
Incidentally, way back when when I first attempted to write anything, I wrote a three-hundred and fifty-thousand word story who had a villain who was bisexual, incestual (through force), a murderer, a master swordsmen, willing to fuck things not human (mythical creatures) there was no hardcore sex in this story, but it was mentioned in passing. All this before I read Game of Thrones, now though, you throw that out there and people think: Oh, I know where you got this from.
The thing is with the sex, I don't know how I would write it in some categories.
Like, non-con, straight rape: I don't think I would write for someone else to get excited over it, I think it would be an emotional abuse tale focusing on the despair of the situation.
Gay Male: It would probably be less intense and more mechanical for me, with sex being a part of the story rather than being the story (which when I write a sex story on a sex website, the story revolves around the sex). You might get one hell of a story (hopefully) but all actions/thoughts/scenarios led to sex.
I wrote stories in Sci-Fi/Fantasy, I/T, Horror, Erotic Couplings, Nonhuman, and I had Firstime, Humor, Lesbian, Group Sex, Exhibitionism/Voyeurism, Mind-control, Toys/Masturbation, Romance (thought I might be too pornographic for romance), Fetish, Interracial, Swinging (Loving Wives), Anal, BDSM, sprinkled throughout them. I had an almost Non-con situation (devil man with human man) but that was interrupted before the action started in the story.
I have no interest in sending a PM, but if this is just a simple little question of 'what category don't you want to post in'....![]()
Well, we're going nowhere, everything between us has been addressed. Have a nice day.![]()
Um, why are you picking a reply to what he said to me? I didn't take any offense by that, so I feel it's unfair to KindOfHere when trying to make it seem like he's bashing me.I have no interest in sending a PM, but if this is just a simple little question of 'what category don't you want to post in'....![]()
Apparently the thread started gives a fuck? He is curious about it and asking people to tell him. That's, in my humble opinion, a very valid request. And people responded to him telling him, which seems like people actually want to satisfy his curiosity and believe it makes for an interesting exchange of information. And of course there will be some people who are a bit rough in their wording, but that's everywhere in the world. Most of us know not to take offense when that happens.Who gives a fuck what individuals don't want to write--other than to invite and involve put downs?
and I enjoy it but I know there's lots that don't. Still, it's interesting.I get that feeling I'm a distinct minority here
