Would really appreciate a walk-through on posting avs. I went to the Faq, but this is all it brought up.

Avatars are small graphical images that you may choose in your profile. They are displayed below your username on all posts that you make. You can select the image that best describes yourself from your profile options.

Here's the list of currently available avatars:

If you have more than 100 posts, you may also specify your own custom avatar.

1. The Faq offers me a list, but then doesn't give one.

2. Do I really have to post 100 times before I can select my own av??

3. I have been to my profile, and I think I enabled it to allow me to post one, but I have yet to find the option where I can actually choose/browse for an image.

Yes, you have to post 100 times before you can have an av.

There are no "choices" at Lit, you have to upload one from your computer. There are numerous threads on this board with links to av sites.

First, yes you have to 100 posts before you can have an av.

Once you get 100 posts then click on usercp and then click edit options and scroll to the bottom of the page.

There you will find the area that tells you how to post your av.

Thank you for your prompt reply. All I wanted to do was bring in one of my own, but as you clarified, that will not be possible until after 100 posts. Boy, I really have my "work" cut out for me.

Work? Huh?
I've only been here since, what, Sept, and am over 2k, its not that hard.
Check out some of the ORP/SRP boards if you're into writting mutual stories. Hit the GB or BDSM-C's word association threads. That'll help boost your thread count.
