AVs for sale!!!

Actually I was considering setting up an av thread just for fun. Maybe we should start adding them here, and I can add mine when I´m back home.

rhinoguy,

There used to be a thread, maybe it was on the General Board, where someone would help re-size AV's. That might make a good sideline business to keep your mighty mind occupied.

How about this, can I use this, when I get 100?
Dear MeMa,
Several of us have tried to explain this on other threads, but we seem to be having some difficulty. Please just be patient until you get to a hundred posts. A marvelous panoply of wonderful AVs will be revealed. You will be happy. We promise.
MG
Ps. Don't strain yourself to hurry to a hundred AVs. It's obvious when someone is just padding his total.

Isn't it about time for the 3 to 5 days line?

Shit....Deja vous all over again. How many frigging threads does it take to explain AVs? Speaking of which, maybe its time for me to find another one. I wonder where MG hid the key to the vault this time?

That thread is in the How To Forum.

This information is strictly for people who've posted at least 100 times.

You folks should stop leading Medi-man on. He doesn't even have the sacred word or the secret handshake much less 100 posts.

OK, why did I have to submit a full-frontal? I still don't see what it has to do with Venice or Shakespeare.

Thing is, I did get a nice fee. Gauche said I'd even get the negative returned on my first Lit. anniversary.

Dear Perdita,
Re your AV: Okay, I guess that's Venice. Where are the roller bladers and the tee shirt stands?

MG, MG, MG: I know you're stuck in SoCal on this but in "my" Venice there are no rollerbladers; the city's too dangerous for them as it is made up of over 100 islands connected by over 400 bridges and a great assortment of paving stones. By the way, there are only three bridges that connect the Grand Canal, the one in my current AV is the Rialto, which (yippee) allows me to quote Shakespeare.

"What news on the Rialto?" (spoken by Shylock in The Merchant of Venice, I,iii)

However, you'll be pleased to know there are tee-shirt stands that offer a fine variety of frontal art including the logo of the great opera house (built on its own island, La Fenice (which I wear proudly).

Perdita

p.s. Merchant also has my favorite opening line in all of Sh're:

"In sooth, I know not why I am so sad", spoken by the real merchant of Venice, Antonio (so many misguidedly think the merchant is Shylock).
