I thought it was about a bunch of hotties dancing on a bar and playing with fire...But you're right it did suck.

I think they showed only the bar scenes in the trailer to lure you in. That was actually only a small part of the movie, the rest of it was an unrealistic yawn fest.

I guess it is a good idea i check the boards. I was thinking of going to see that movie this weekend. Maybe I'll just wait for it to come to video instead.

I sensed this puppy was a turkey when I heard the ad campaign on the radio: The hottest bar-based movie of the summer! I had not realized that there were several bar-based movies and that this one had earned the right to be "the hottest."

Speaking of advertising campaigns, my fave was for the original release of Blood Simple by The Coen Brothers (seriously cool movie). The slogan: It's our first movie, give us a break.

This in addition to the campy B-movie ad slogan that is my current signature, of course.
