Does anyone here plan any special activies for the day/days after christmas to avoid that sudden drop from all of the anticipation being over?

See the sig line. In two days my girlfriend arrives. I wasn't bothered about Christmas, I've been waiting for 31st December.

Yes darling, I'm going to sleep in every morning until I feel I have to get back to work;) Then I'm going to go appologise to the bank manager for going over the overdraft limit paying for Christmas:D

How about you?? Anything special planned.

Not really. Well other than reading my christmas present - the very suspensful and great book- the da vinci code.

plus I keep meaning to write some letters to my family- particularly my dad:)

I'm fortunate in that my Christmas was pretty awful this year, so things immediately began looking up on the morning of the 26th.

And today is the King Mango Strut. I'm also planning to read the Da Vinci Code, but if you're already started it and I haven't bought it yet, that means I'll be the last person on the planet to read it.

Darn.

My B-day is the 30th so I never had a Christmas let down although I always felt like I got shafted by all the relatives with the combination Christmas Birthday presents :(

My special activities involve work and no fun...tomorrow I have to go back to the Uni for two days. Incredible how workaholic those professors have gotten this year.

Otherwise, I had a bit too much to drink the day before Xmas eve (that's the 23rd) and am still firm in my abstention from alcoholic beverages and other intoxicating substances...including sex alas:mad: .

I'm going to write another quick and dirty, work on thr next installment of my series, and do a valentine story....

I didn't expect much from Christmas, didn't get much, but what I did get was appreciated, and I haven't had an alcoholic drink for three weeks so I'm not hung over.

What I have got is lazy Muses. I think they overindulged on the nectar. Their story ideas have been crap for the last few days.

what about the one about what the sheep do while the Shepards are visiting in the manger???

but seriously....need a slap? if that works for you, I'll start a thread.

I went out, and bought my wife an Un-Christmas present. I plan to take her out to dinner, and a little dancing, and whatever else happens to come up later on.

You could always do like my mother does. She goes shopping for next years stuff the day after. Great buys so I am told.

Gosh! If you ask me I am glad all the buying is over until next December 23rd. Man why couldn't Christmas fall on leapyear?
