So I was reading through the threads this afternoon, and I stumbled onto the 'In Praise of BBW's' thread. Made me think about all those labels we throw around... and whether or not they're accurate.

How do you define BBW?
Voluptuous?
Man-Slut? ;)
Average?
Intelligent?
Witty?

To me, all of these labels are subjective, and yet there are people who build their identities around them. Often, it's the first thing out of their mouth when they're describing themselves... "I'm an intelligent, witty, BBW...." or whatever. Is it healthy to limit ourselves to labels that might not even describe us? How accurate is our own perception of ourselves? Do we sometimes use labels as a reason not to change something about ourselves?

*I mean no offense to anyone. If you choose to be offended by this thread, that is your choice.*

You know I was wondering this too. Where is the line where one becomes a BBW? Cuz I seem to be on it, I think. The stuff at the 'regular' clothes shops I wear the largest size and the stuff in the 'plus' shops, I wear the smallest. So what am I, average, or bigger than, or what?

Well, I love women of all sizes, and don't care to label them, but I do have a problem with the term BBW. What if she was a Big Not-so-attractive woman? What if she was ugly?

**Yes, I realize it's a self-esteem thing...hell, even I have a weight problem.

Peachy, I think that makes me and you average. I'm a 12/14... I'm not thin, and I'm not really big.

This isn't just about size though... we always seek to label ourselves, and I don't know how healthy/deluding that is.

Bob, I'm not a big fan of the term either.
