Avatar Moderation - Problem

How long does it take? I've uploaded twice over a number of weeks and still there is no change. Is this feature still active?

if you take a moment, you'll see there are several other threads devoted to this specific topic. You'll find answers there and please, don't keep attempting to re-upload since it can only help bog the system down.

i do appreciate your reply but i feel like you are agitated at me. I really didn't know any better than to upload again as there is no message saying something like "the process of adding your avatar is slow at the moment, please have patience. I wouldn't have uploaded a second time. Communication can save everyone time and aggravation. Thank you again for taking the time to reply to me. It was helpful.

No one replying in these threads has the ability to make any of the changes you’ve described. Incidentally, one used to have to have 100 posts before they could submit an avatar and I think it would be wise for the site to go back to that. Once a member has posted 100 times, they would know to look for other threads on a topic before starting another. This is a common topic around here. Submitting over and over and over definitely seems to be bogging down the system, though. Definitely inadvisable. Other than that, the best we can tell is that they seem to be approved monthly.
