Kewl. Just seems a lot of people get confused because it's easy to miss the moon in background shots during the Southern Raiders episode, where Katara suddenly bloodbends the ships Captain.

And if I have to explain to one more person about why she didn't bloodbend Azula during the finale.... /random fanboy rant

I was actually wondering what we were going to do about Aang. Although I have to question how much of a threat Azula would present against a fully realized Avatar. Guess that's where her band of followers would come in to try and tip the scales. Bending fodder. *snicker*

Lil' List of Notions:

a) yeah, small army of crazies, some of whom might also be Firebenders

b) Azula's madness may make her surprisingly more powerful

c) Aang might be distracted by Katara's presence, which may or may not inhibit The Avatar State? (There was that Guru guy, I wasn't really clear on that.)

d) Azula may incorporate the techniques of Sparky Sparky Boom Man, octupling the lethality of her attacks

e) some sort of cosmic event (along the lines of an Eclipse or Sozin's Comet) robs The Avatar of a percentage of his power?

f) I dunno

g) all of the above, especially "f"

I was thinking that her lil army of freaks would be a bit of a challenge...

And the rumored possibility of another comet (not as large as Sozin's, of course) making a course through that would make Azulsa think she's now the Queen of Awesome.


That and... She's nuts. She thinks she can take on everybody right now.

Ah, River Tam. Everybody's favorite butt kicking little space case. Unless one were to count Leeloo Dallas Multipass -- then I'd give her the edge.

And pretty much, it would seem. Although I also wonder whatever happened to Armphid's interest? *shrugs*

Her madness interfered with her technique in the finale, but I guess after eight years she may have learned to better harness these mental changes and actually improve herself in an odd way. Sorta like the Firebender's version of a Drunken Master fighting style.

Which...is actually making me picture Azula showing up in the thread while made up like in my avatar. Poor crazy!Azula.

Zuko and Azula could have an epic battle to the death while the Avatar's distracted. One which rages on for several posts with no clear winner in sight, when suddenly Aang shows up and slaps the crazy witch into a wall with an Avatar State fueled Airbending blast from behind.

Then Zuko could slip into his whinny persona from the abridged series on YouTube.

Zuko: But, Uncle, I wanted to defeat Azula for all of the times she made Daddy not love me and the Avatar didn't let me!

Iroh: Ah, quit your whining, ya putz.

....but it does make me wonder if we'll see Iroh eventually since he has his tea shop in Ba Sing Se.

Yeah, I just heard it in a wrestling commercial, which reminded me that it was bad-ass.
