Apparently there is a computer program called Autotune which can process someone's vocals to make them more on-key. There's a bit of controversy about whether this should be used by professional musicians, but that's irrelevant to me. I just would like to play with it, seems like a fun toy. Problem is, it seems to only come as part of Garage Band, and Garage Band seems to only be for Mac??? Does anyone know how or where to get a version of Autotune that runs on windows (and isn't several hundred dollars)?

Go to a torrent-site, you'll find it there (only took me 10 seconds to find it).

There are several different versions of AutoTune, all of which function differently. Some are "plug-ins" and only function in the context of an audio-recording suite (IE GarageBand, Pro Tools, etc); these will be labeled "VST" for Virtual Studio Technology, or "RTAS" for Real-Time AudioSuite. What you want is the stand-alone version. The stand-alone version may require hardware as well as software, however, so you'll have to do some Googling and experimenting.

As to actually obtaining the program, a torrent site is indeed your best bet.
