look up at the top left of the browser window.

does it say "Goss's Garage"? if not, you *may* be in a porn website, and not a website devoted to banal car questions.

You are one smart, good looking mofo!

Just go get them fixed. Recalls are missed all the time..not a big deal. No whining.

If there is a recall, take it to a dealership and they will fix it. No big deal.

They sold it to her without fixing it or telling her anything about the recall or the problem...she had it fixed and now the transmission just froze so I am looking to fuck them any way I can. Now they are looking to fuck her on the trans so I want vengeance.

It has to go back to the manufacturer's dealership. Recalls are covered by Federal law. No dealership will give you trouble over it.

Vengeance is for fools. No one will be impressed. Find some other way to waste your time.

Honestly, with the ease of the fix, you sound like you're looking for validation in "double dipping" your own daughter's lack of sane thinking. You never go full retard and buy a car without doing extensive looking into the make and model you are looking to buy. If it was a known recall that would show up in the research.

Is it the seller's responsibility to do everything for the buyer?

Did you have a reputable mechanic check out the car?

The ball joints have absolutely nothing to do with the transmission.

The person you speaking to is politically one of those low-information voters who fell head over heals with our current President coming off her hatefest of the last President (boyfriend, as if he were the guy that jilted her) and probably feels very much that one of us would have been able to direct her to the branch, or office, of government that was going to go get those evil Republicans that sold her the vehicle...

;) ;) ... must be some sort of consumer protection lemon law that she can hide behind. It is simply not fair that people can sell used, ahem, preowned, cars that are not in pristine, mint condition.

She got what she voted for, she got what she purchased, and now she is consumed with buyer's remorse and since she is infallible, someone to blame for deceiving her.

IMHO

A carfax report would have shown the recall prior to purchase.

Also, it's worth double-checking, but it's not illegal to sell used cars with a recall. You can't sell a new car under recall, however. Therefore, I don't think you can sue your daughter over her lack of research prior to buying said car.
