I have been on lit for 5 years. I never had it autocorrect me like it has been lately.

This can'take be what it was'the suppose to do.
See!
Every time I apostrophe it makes a word and it changes words. Anybody else feel that it has changed. It is driving me crazy.

yes. These days I find myself constantly having to go back and re-ype things. I could actually watch it changing things changing it back and then changing it to something else. One of the things that it does often lately is it refuses to capitalize the first letter of a sentence. Even though it's clearly the start of a new sense. I can even watch it capitalize it for a second then change its mine and put it as lower case. It also does random capitals in the middle of the paragraph for no particular reason. Sometimes it's obvious that it might be 3 or 4 words that are a movie title or a song or something like that but off in its just capitalizing 1/2 of a phrase.

in the above example when it first typed it it use the numeral three and the word for where it says three or four words I thought about it a very long time before it changed it to what it is now.

It used to be dumber and somehow more useful. It would more or less just word for word take the words that I said and write them down with a few obvious gaffes sprinkled in that were easy enough to spot and correct. now it tries to guess what it thinks I should have said and it Alters all kinds of words in the middle of what I was trying to write.

I enjoy "Ishmael Mode" for autocorrect because it insert's an apostrophe before word's that end in the letter "s". I think it add's a touch of clas's.

Cute vid.

I've gotten used to the expected apple correct, yet it still wins when I fail to proofread. When I switch over to that free, stupid-ass, mini Samsung tablet I have, it has a totally different correcting mind.

but does not presume.

Sometimes the fun is in the unproofed.

I have affectionately given my auto correct the pet name, auto defect

I know. Auto correct is the enemy of creativity. 'It's not a mistake! I meant to type it that way!!' But auto correct doesn't listen.

I am so stupid. I thought it was a function of lit. I changed from my stupid-ass, mini Samsung nook tablet and tried.

This is not how it is suppose to be.
See! No problem.

I'm just a moron.:D

My Acer notebook only occasionally makes simple spelling changes. Some words it does and some it just underlines.

Yay at least you found out the source was the stupid tablet, not you.
