Oh, right, men never commit crimes, women always lie or always deserved it.
I find myself hoping Heard is found innocent, simply so whiny men can for one second know what its like to be a woman and see an abuser walk away like all the men do

I'd ask this question, did the woman's husband deserve to be killed? Possible burning bed situation? Who know, who cares, burn the bitch right?

There's no allegation here that the deceased was abusive. She says she didn't do it and the prosecution says she did it for money. I have no idea who's right. No one here is cackling over those other cases. I take them seriously but none of them justifies murder to collect life insurance, if that is what happened here.

You read, praise, and have adopted as your namesake the horror author H.P. Lovecraft, who in his writing expressed unquestionably racist views, especially against black people. His views are in writing, so there's no disputing them. By your logic, you must be racist.

I don't believe you are racist, or sexist, or bigoted, because as far as I can recall you've never written anything here that is racist, or sexist, or bigoted. But I think my example proves you don't really believe what you claim to believe when you write about other contributors here at the AH, and you are talking out of both sides of your mouth.

You never responded previously to what I think is an obvious point: Name 20 hard rock bands that you like and listen to, and if you dig just a little bit I'll bet you can find plenty of them with band members who abuse women. Doesn't mean you're going to stop listening to them, and I don't care whether you do or don't. It doesn't mean anything, other than that you might want to be a wee bit more restrained at casting stones from your glass house.
