Austrian father keeps daughter imprisoned for 24 years

I'm sure most of you have seen this report. I saw it when it first came out yesterday, and have been following it.

I'm still in shock, I don't think I have anything I can say that expresses my shock, dismay and disgust.

Every time I read a bit more, all kinds of questions come to me, to which I have no answers.
