LOL - you're on the wrong side of the country.
Although.... I might be coming that way next year.....

Yay!!!!! Coffee somewhere? :D

 Not particularly..... why? Are you offering to submit to my (not so) tender ministrations??

Err......maybe.....;)

Hi Kisses! And Ms Wind! :rose::rose::kiss::kiss:

Our poor Ginge really doesn't know what he's getting himself in for, does he? ;)

Be gentle with our sweet pommy import, won't you? Well at least for the first 10 mins. :D

On another adventure, WQ? Gotta try me some of that chocolate! I can resist anything but chockie. :D Have a great flight and catchup.

Eyes wide OPEN

Rather nice day in Melbourne town, kinda warm and cool at the same time. Just enough of a sea breeze to not raise the body temp when walking around. Warmer tomorrow.

Quiet day at work, no less workload just less crap flying around and less meetings to attend and not achieve anything.

That's one thing about a meeting you always need another one to close out the stuff you wanted to close out at the current meeting. Usually leave with more things undecided than resolved. I spend too much time in meetings cause I know stuff, not because I need to attend...one day I won't show up to a meeting and they will realise I resigned.

Nice weather to have a cold beer after work...oh wait I actually have a cold beer here with me...must be fate

Hope the start of the week wasn't a big shock to the system

Good evening peoples :)
A bit easier today - less hours too. Promoting chocolate is hard work!
I keep getting asked if I would move to be here permanently.... not going to happen. After what I've seen over the last couple of days, the workload is insane! No way would I do that seven days a week! Staff issues, theft, total disregard of health and hygeine by a few members of staff..... there is just loads of training to do here. No wonder SIL is desperate for people she can trust!

Anyway, off for a shower and then to find some real food.
:)

So you can't see a career in the World Of Choklit Promotions? :)

Oh, I can see promoting chocolate....
I just can't see doing it here the way SIL wants me to.

She's got all her staff running around doing all sorts of jobs instead of delegating precise roles and allowing them to excell at just the one (either barista or chef or front-of-house.)
I came up to do the chocolate, but I have spent the majority of my time being the 'general hand' and helping her try and screw her head on straight!
Insanity

So will you be showing the error of her ways? :D

I am finally compus again after a few days existing on less than 4 hours sleep followed by 16 hour days.
After sleeping on the 'brick' for three nights, being home in my own bed was heaven!

And although I am happy to fly up and help out occasionally - NO WAY IN HELL am I moving there.
The commute sucks, the hours are simply insane, and the amount of work is ridiculous.
I am too old and set to want to do that sort of thing again as a regular, daily job.

I am happy to be home :)

It is more of a dark grey and a replacement for my iPad 2. This tablet has a wider screen than the iPads and has windows 8 (the full O.S. version) and office 2013 so I can work on my book with no problem

You didn't go for the Samsung version?

Good afternoon Aussies,

would anyone of you know how I can get in touch with lindahotstuff:kiss: outside this forum? She was very active here, but that was several years ago, seems she no longer logs in.

If someone has an email address or what, please give me a buzz. Very much appreciated :)

I wish they had a 'like' button to click - sometimes that all you want to say (or do, as the case may be)

Hey you - here's another one.....

Got it :)
Need it actually. I am beginning to get a little stressed about the kidlets final op on Monday.... this is the big one, removal of lymph glands in his neck (very near to some major nerve structures).

So.... keep them coming and I'll store them for use on the day!

And (((thanx)))
