I was once told that this place ie: internet - particularly sex based forums - is all about theatre - its a place where you can be anyone you want. Therefore, you should keep a healthy check on your reality as this ain't real!
For some people, it becomes real - and as a result they can be hurt, deceived, misled and find themselves exploited. Yet others can form lasting friendships, gain valuable support in times of crisis and end up in loving relationships and even marriage.
The Aussies thread seems to have a reputation for being one of the more grounded places where people are respected, respectful, have fun and generally get on well whilst taking no bullshit from the wannabees, poseurs and frauds.
We are also prepared to meet up as a group from time to time - people have travelled from one side of the country to the other for meets! Occasionally we will also entertain that pommie lad that pops in and out (Waves at GA!
There are some of us who have contributed pieces to the "literature" part of the site - Funny how some people just come for the chat and the perving on the pictures and in the vain hope that they might hook up and get laid when in fact, this site was originally a forum of writers of erotica, soft porn etc.
So.. those are my thoughts on the place...but what would I know? I'm just an old chook with a bit too much time on her hands!
