Melbourne is having its moments - the poor folks at the Farmers Market this morning were wondering whether they would be blown back to where they came from, it was so gusty out there this morning.

Despite that, I managed to get some yummy Triple Cream cheese from the Locheil cheese lady - I held down her tent while she found my change!

Very busy. Jill of all trades, atm. Worked till the wee hrs last night to avoid going in today on my day off but lost half the day recovering anyway. It'll settle down. We're so close to finishing all the outstanding minor works. It's amazing what can be done on a shoestring with lots of sweat!

I still haven't gone down that way. Will probably get to the US before I get to Melbourne. That's upside down.

I've been there in those gales though. Trying to walk down the esplanade became a lesson in staying upright!

The XC is a little way off still.
All removeable panels are repaired and painted and the rest of the car is in undercoat.
The rear brakes have been fused for 4 years, so they're getting an overhaul atm. The holly needs rebuilding and that will be done in the next few weeks. And there's about a zillion other small things that need attention.

We have a charity run in November, and I'm hoping she'll be up and on the road by then.

I think the tyre issue is probably curbs.... our guys in V8's do seem to see curbs as 'optional' on the track!

My lead foot hasn't cost me any fines so far...... yet
