And the weather has eased a bit down here - we had a severe weather warning for last night, and it's been snowing on the hills for most of it. The wind is cold, but thankfully not quite the 100km/hr gales we had overnight!

i haven't been around for a bit so just dropping in to say hi again,not much going on in shitland (queensland).
im still in remission which is good,im out to check ups every 6 months now woo hoo,tore cartilage in right knee so had an op last week to cut it out,but didnt tear up any of the reco work i had dun in 2010 which is good.
Hope your going good Gil & slowly getting there mate,
to everyone else hope ya's are all going great guns & hi to all the new people on here,
i really should keep in contact more on here,but with work & other commitments i kinda forget to lol.

News..... just got back from having my skin check.
I've had a few spots on 'watch' for a while.
Anyway, first thing that happened was a biopsy was taken of the one on my lip, and then it was treated.
I now look like I've been punched in the mouth, and it's fucking sore!
All the other spots haven't changed, so I'm ok for another 6 mths for those.
Get your skin checked, people!

A good bit of the refund will go on getting the classic Jag down here from Darwin.
We'll sell the second one.... that'll help a bit.
My lip looks awful. I'm hiding away from the world for the next few days.

And now I'm on new medication for what we thought was IBS, but now looks like a lipase deficiency (my pancreas is not producing certain enzymes, so I'm malnourished because I haven't been digesting food properly for a few years) and I will have to take this with every meal and snack for the rest of my life.
I am also somewhat underweight - 52kg at 172cm tall. (Some time ago bandit expressed shock at my height/weight ratio... Heh, and I just thought I was slim and I was thrilled!)
Ahh well.... could be worse

Worked mainly this weekend, but played footie today and drew 1- 1.
Watched the first of the two V8s from last weekend. Great race - go Ford's!!!!!!!!!!!! :-D
