I have about 50 little jobs waiting too, but as it's only 2 degrees and most of them are outside, I have decided to wait a bit.
Which means I won't get most of them done anyway :rolleyes:
The most important one is to fix the heating in my car. So long as I get that done, I'll be happy.

A day off in the middle of the week.... how'd you score that?!

Yep I'd wait a bit too... maybe til September??? Except for the car heating, that's pretty important.


I'm wagging work. I was naughty and took a play day... only issue is my playmate ended up cancelling... so now instead of hours of misbehaviour I may have to do ironing. :eek:

Oh no! Not good to have a cancellation!

Heating super-important! These cold mornings, I drive the kidlet down to the bus stop wearing 4 layers of clothes, ugg boots, beanie and gloves! I look a bit like a homeless person :eek:

And ironing? One of my most hated jobs.... to the point where I have been slowly replacing all my clothes with no-iron options!
I think I have 3 things left in my entire wardrobe that need to be ironed.

At least you looked like a warm, homeless person...

Yep cancelled dates are the pits, though bonus is I don't have to shave my legs! Added warmth is useful this morning. I only saw him a week ago so I'm spoilt enough I can suck it up and keep myself company occassionally.

Ironing is evil... I try to limit it and refuse to do it in summer but all my winter shirts tend to need ironing curse the damn things.

I may venture outside shortly :D

Trying to read the car manual re my heater.... not having much luck working it out. I may have to go back to my usual method - tinker and twiddle stuff till it works :eek:

Alone time is good. I must admit that having a man that works away regularly is the best thing for me. I would probably end up hating him if he were here all the time!
Maybe I'm a closet hermit?
 
You'll overheat soon, probably time to ditch some layers. We're a balmy 11 outside now...

Twiddling works for plenty of other things in life, seems fair it should work with car repairs.

The other half worked away for a while so I only saw him 1 day in 7 which was lonely but strangely peaceful but now he's back home fulltime... luckily not underfoot though, mining keeps him pretty busy. I get the bonus of taking myself off though when I need some space and different company... works well.

Just finished doing all my paperwork. Yay. Not.
So much for 'let's move to a paperless society' :rolleyes:

And of course, in a few weeks it'll be tax time..... more paperwork fun!

I have decided to take my car and its broken heater to a professional. Had a bit of a tinker and discovered 5 empty fuse-lines (but everything else works?) and a couple of hoses that don't appear to connect to anything. Time for the spunky mechanic to be called.

Got an sos call to pick up a gf in the middle of last night! Petrol was iffy. Nursed that baby all the way there, out to her property and back. Got home with just a sniff left! Gonna have to walk the Gerry can down the hill and back. :cool: Bugger!
