Hi Triskele
Pain is an ever present mongrel in Gil's life, the only thing we've found to relieve it is some herbal smoke and emu oil. We tried Panadol Osteo for about a year but that seems to be upsetting his tummy now Most over the counter and prescription pain meds do that

I've heard Ethical Nutrients make a herbal pain relief tablet with turmeric and something else in it (can't remember what offhand) but it's supposedly "gut friendly" and has anti inflammatory properties. I went to a chemist today but they don't stock it, so will have a bit of a look around for it tomorrow. At this point we will give anything a try!

Been having a quick look online, cost around $20 for 30 tablets but the postage is expensive, hopefully I can find it in a chemist near me!

I'm fine, a bit stiff after doing a pump class yesterday though. Daughter and cutie grandson are doing fine, he's apparently growing like the proverbial weed

Seems as though around $30. for on line but will be looking at several of our local chemists plus the discount chemists in the area, the benifit of city living is lots of options.

Since 1995 I have lived in a great deal of pain 24/7. I had a Full Spinal-Fusion, that is were two metal rods are inserted into my back and bolted into each vertibra (spellng?). I feel both rods and each bolt 24/7. One of my lungs is slowly being crushed as well, and I take no pain relief so I know all about pain and that goes without adding in all other problems

Mate I'm sure if this was a competition to see who has the most health problems & pain you win no question but this only started as BANDIT searching for some relief for me, I hide my pain fairly well to a point where some didn't know till they were told.

I may be a sooky la la as ICR calls it but if there is a way to ease my pain I'll take it.

It's amazing what our bodies can take when they have to, isn't it? You never know what you're capable of until, suddenly, you're doin it. Meds seem to have a lifespan, tho, they seem to only last for so long and then we either get used to them or our bodies reject them.

I knew a young lady many years ago who had spondylitis and had her spine fused. She had a series of exercises she had to do each day to build up the muscles that supported her mid section. She said it was to ensure she didn't collapse the area and constrict her internal organs. Do you have stuff like that, Orlanth? It looked like bloody hard work but she was very commited to keeping it up.

Not good as I have to be in court tomorrow with my daughter. I may have no choice but to take meds in the morning.
I was trying to avoid all except the meds I have to take, in order for this detox/reboot to be as effective as possible.

Is the headache from no sugar? If so, I found grapes help. Did a detox last year and it was great. Need to do another. Haven't been a good girlie.

I don't think it's from no sugar, as I haven't had sugar for 6 years.
Ironically, I am doing the reboot to see if it can help me isolate the cause of my migraines. This headache is just that, a headache.
Plus, the weigtloss will be a bonus

There is exercises to help slow down the progression of my fredrich's ataxia but there no exercises to stop my spinal-cored from twisting. My lung is being crushed from my spinal-cored twisting, and i have had dozen of hairline fractures along my spine as well

WQ There is no pain relief that does not dope me out so i choose not to take them and live with the pain

So, we got the restraining order. For now it's an interim order, and we're back in court next month so the respondent can give her reasons why she shouldn't have the order against her.
This will be very difficult, as she's already confronted my daughter in such a manner that the police were called to attend.
Daughter feels a little safer knowing that if this girl comes within 100m, or threatens my daughter thro fb, text or call, she will be facing court and possibly jail.
This girl has more problems to deal with than this - she's a drug addict (at 16!) and has a number of issues. I'm hoping she breaks the order.... because then finally she might get the help she needs.

Just peaking in...... have not been on the thread forever. Life has gotten in the way big time.

There are no winners, are there? Just survivors. I hope the other girl grows some smarts and her family helps her sort her life out. Doesn't sound like it'll happen anytime soon, though.

Hope 2012 is being kind to you. I'm still searching for my summer. It's been stolen!!! Apparently the coast - over the mountains from here - is wonderful. We've been cold and overcast for months, with a handful of lovely days scattered in there to remind us what it should be like!! On the upside, we're no longer in drought! lol

Kevin Rudd was an awesome foriegn minister. He was not a good party leader and you need to be that as PM. He's pledged not to go for PM. Any attempt to do that now would totally sink his cred. What a mess. We need a Foriegn Minister who has cred oversees badly atm. Who's it gonna be now I wonder?
