Naaah, all I have to do is grow 6 inches aand all will be solved! Unfortunately, horse manure and rain have failed to make me grow, so maybe elevator shoes are the next thing to try?????

I think enjoying one's self is a state of mind - available even when the bod is not co-operating. If you want it to be.

It's a very rare time I can't enjoy life.

Dentist went ok minimal pain and I can't even feel anything now. Was only a small replacement filling and a scale and clean this time.

Next time will be worse because I;m getting a crown done. This will be the third one the last 2 were done over 6 years ago and still going strong. I will be glad when it's done because I'm sick of having to watch what I eat and where I chew. Cold drinks are bad bad bad

Great that this dentist trip wasn't as harsh. :)

Commiserate with crown thing. I have 2 to get done and one still to be cut out. Not thinking about them just yet, until bank balance recovers!

When the next trip to dentist is over it won't be long until you can eat and drink what you like at any temp you like!! It's wierd but. For a while you keep chewing like you used to.

Mmmmm. Yes, thank you.

Have the cherubs for the weekend. :D I am the model of decorum.

Hope your weekend is a goodie. :rose:

Enjoy your weekend with the cherubs although the colder weather with possible showers/ rain has things looking a little sad for Sydney.

LOL I'll buy you a drink in Brissy in May. ;)

lol I'm not sure Brissy is quite ready for a repeat performance

Come to think of it, I'm not sue if I am!!

I need to get out and let off some steam. Think I'll find a horse that needs exersizing. Get some wind in the hair!!!!

Yeah. We are expecting 12 deg and a possible shower. A bit windy, but not too bad for the markets.

Early rise and busy day. :)

Have already been having a ball with cherubs. I love the laughter in the cottage. :D

When I started feeling gaged in I always took off on my motorbike not knowing where I was heading & found some amazing places for recovery.

I also found bashing & crashing in the Fender Bender at the speedway got rid of a lot of stress too.

Laughter is always a good recipe for everyone. BANDIT:heart: & I laugh a lot.

In my past I always operated on the theme of best cure is more of the same!
I have to agree with you Gil that is the way to go. But unfortunately it never seems to work, not matter how many times you try it.

The easiest way to avoid the malaise is to avoid the cause, but whenever I get a glass or bottle in my hand I get a short-term memory loss until the next day, when I remember what I decided was the best way to make the pain stay away.

Hi DJ!

Hope you had a great day! We've been gardening in a BIG way. My hedge is in and temp fence up. Edging done. Large bush removed. Ivy cleared from one fence (one more to go). Needed limbering up anyway so bruises not to stiff. Feeling tired but happy. :)

Late dinner just about finished.

I rarely drink, so I'm quite literaly a one pot screamer. There are no answers in a bottle but a few giggles are had on occassion. :D

Heh - who needs alcohol?
I'm on some pretty awesome pain-killers for my elbow (the bone chip is now pressing hard on my main nerve) and I am somewhere near Jupiter at the moment!

Oh, and btw - my sheeps got the chop and my freezer is full :D
I told you I could kill them!
Lamb chops on the barbie for lunch tomorrow.

Go WQ!

Hope your elbow isn't giving you too much schtick.

I can't chop my babies soo... chickens are just for eggs and poddies go back to the farm. I can only eat those I don't know. So much for self sufficiency! I imagine I could if I HAD to...... maybe......

I am a major wous.

Hi Trisk

Lazy day today, pretty hectic workwise so put feet up this pm and watched AFL, sorry to your Ma in law, but I barracked for Geelong.

Weather done here very nice but an extremely strong cold wind., similar tomorrow so will start removing the jungle.

Glad to hear the after effects of the previous evening have dissipated.

I have no problem killing for food. I named my orphans Rib, Loin, Chop, Shank and Roast :D
I absolutely abhor killing for sport, but I understand controlled culling.
It's a complex thing.

Have to admit I really don't like killing chooks - but that's more of a hatred of pulling feathers out. They feel awful when I pull them, and they make me squirm a little.
Much easier to go to the butcher and buy one ready-plucked.

Hehe. We had 2 poddie calves called Osso and Bucco.:D

Osso died after ingesting the neighbours plastic bag and Bucco was a rig after he wasn't marked right. So when the kids and I found we couldn't eat him the other neighbours took him in and he now has a harem as well as servicing a few other farms! His life is a far cry from what was intended!!

A sad, sad day, indeed for the outlaw. :(

I would have prefered hawthorn to win as well. So no joy there, either.

An Irish day here with continual mist. A very good day for planting. Back to work tomorrow. And the cherubs go, as well. :(:(:(

Ah memories ..... ..... or lack of memory, i'm not sure anymore.:(
