I'm watching a bludger-in-training atm. Same age as my daughter. Doesn't go to school. Supposed to be living with Dad but lobs at Mums to clean out her food, including the toddlers food. Receives his payments from DSS but pays no board to either parent and expects the best of everything.

He was brought up to fail. His mother once told me she couldn't be as strict as me. He was never expected to behave in a responsible way. Parents getting it all back now, but he'll break out soon and someone in town will bear the results. :(

I do remember deing on the dole & fighting with the wanker at the dole office who wouldn't accept me into a course to train because i hadn't been unemployed long enough so I asked to speak with his boss, got on the course for 6 weeks , got into work training & got a job which led my boss asking me who else on the course was worth hiring so 6 of us ended up having a job at that place.

The difference there, of course, is that you wanted to work.

This fella isn't even going to school. I don't know how the truant officers haven't caught up with him. He used to be such a nice kid with potential. Now he's surly and rude. He still talks to me but can't see a need to get up and try anything. :(

A phone call to the truant office could help catch him out & a good kick in the ass might get him back on track. Parents saying no to him & making him pay rent would also help too.

Well that is a lot different to the truant officers of my day, they had the right to arrest you!

Hows the face feeling?
I go back for my last visit to the torture chamber (Dentist) tomorrow then have to wait several weeks to my falsies, I'm thinking double Ds. LOL

Damn! When am I going to learn NOT to answer my phone on my day off without checking the ID first??????? :confused:
Been beetling around doing my gunnas and now I haveta go to work. Bugga, Bugga, Bugga!!!!

the truancy office in tas (part of dept of education) told me they had NEVER prosecuted for truancy, and they had no intention of doing so.

I think I've finally eaten the last of the stitches - a good thing as they were sticking in my cheek! Now I just have to wait for the last of the swelling to go, and for the feeling to return in my jaw (hitting the nerve has resulted in ongoing numbness, which should resolve in around 3 months.)

I've just been working out my insurance - seems I have to up the collection to $80,000!!!
This is gonna cost me dearly.

I will definately not be answering the phone 2moro. Got to chase up documentation for the folks anyway. Will be fighting the red tape to get anywhere. :(

Got some nice red wine ready to calm me down at the end of the day.

I usually do that!!!! What can I say? I was distracted.....thinking about an interesting someone :devil:......

I NEVER pick up a call that withholds the number. Friends with a hidden number text. And I avoid work calls like the plague. One moment of weekness........ :cool:

Learned my lesson!
