Mate I'm doing more than 2 needles a day plus 2 more on dialysis days but yours are a bigger pain then mine are.
Hey Rasher & Gil!oh well what can ya do i guess, you need to do the dialysis stuff & i need the anti cloting stuff so we just deal with what we have to do no point crying about it as we all end up dead eventually.
and
while you get through what you need to to travel on.

Evening aussies
I passed my exam this afternoon, and have been accepted into my course
I am retraining to become a phlebotomist/specimen collector. My course starts Monday.
I get some credits for past training, so I should be able to complete all the theory within the next 2 weeks, before going on to prac followed by placement.
I'm excited!
On another note - the 14 yr old kidlet has suspected glandular fever now too. His liver and spleen are both enlarged and tender, so even when he's allowed back to school he will not be allowed to play any contact sports for about 3 months (he's going to go mad - he loves sport so much he's taken extra PE as his elective).
He needs to have all the tests done again as they came back inconclusive, so next week we go back.
Hah! Good for me to see what's done! Seeing as I'm going to be training in it!

great news, and some not so good news, WQ.
btw, did you know there's a high school reunion later this year? y'know, waaaaaaaaaaay out west.
i prolly won't make it since i'm half-way round the world and have no holiday time left.
Hi WQ!
Yay you! Congrats on exam. Hope you're getting your strength back so your fired up for next week.
Sorry your son has the dreaded GF. 3 months is gonna feel like 4eva for him. But if he does it right now he'll fully recover.
Tx
OMG! Is the reunion for my year(s) also? 81, 82, 83?
Not that I really want to catch up with the majority of wankers I went to school with - the good ones I am still in touch with anyway
I will be doing most of the theory online, so should breeze thro that part of the course.
Both kidlet and I are on bigtime immune boosters - hopefully we'll both start feeling better soon!
the main thing is to get the stick in the correct place. No bruises is a good stick ! Problem can't see it but can feelEvening aussies

Don't I feel like a bad mummy!
In the last 6 weeks, the kidlet has had a cold, followed by a chest infection, another cold, conjunctivitis and tonsillitis.
And all along, I've assumed it's him catching shit whenever he went back to school!
Turns out he's had mono, and probably is the one who gave it to me.
And here I've been telling him to 'suck it up, just like I have to!'

Hey WQ
are you doing the training through a company or a training mob ??
so what were you doing before hand that let you tranfer your previous experience to phlebotomy ??
I'm interested as I'd like to do a course similar
I'm doing my course with Southern IML Pathology (they have a website).
I have been a body piercer for the last 13 yrs![]()
