He rang this morning, they've had him on the nebuliser a few more times and started him on new antibiotics. It sounds like he won't be coming home just yet, they're talking about dialysing him tomorrow at the hospital (which seems silly to me because he'll only get a maximum of 5 hours there when he can get 8 at home)

I'm going to my yoga class at 10am and then off to visit (they don't let you in before 10 anyway, but you can stay til 8pm if you want).

{{{{{{{{{{{Bandit}}}}}}}}}} Thank you for filling us in. Sending more prayers and positive energy to you both.

I

Gil has a chest infection, He got antibiotics on Thursday but they don't seem to be working. He started getting very short of breath at lunchtime today so I called an ambulance...we spent over 8 hours in the ER before they finally admitted him to a ward, hopefully just for tonight. He's been on a nebuliser, had some prednisone and now feels much better but they want to keep an eye on him what with all His other problems.

Hopefully some different antibiotics will make a difference!

sure hope all turns out well as I think it will , the best of the best to you guys !

That's great news Bandit!!! Glad you'll have him home soon !:rose::rose:

When I got there this afternoon he had been hassling them to let him go home today - the only reason they said tomorrow was because they had one more test to do

Long story short they did the test and he got to come home :) He's on the dialysis machine right now will be finished just before midnight.

He's got extra meds (steroids both inhaled and oral) which he'll have to take for the next few days, we have to keep extra tabs on blood sugars because these pills make them go WAY HIGH.

Well after several days of dealing with doctors with next to know how with treating real people, the look at you like your a fool when you tell them your ideas on what has to be done like my blood sugar levels which I've been dealing with on a daily basis for best part of 40years.

My renal specialist arrived & convinced the learners that in deed BANDIT:heart: & I know what we are doing & he has confidence in us. He allows us to deal with several of my drug doses.

Now the important person in all this my love BANDIT:heart: who on the 24 of January 5 years ago came to live with me making my life one of love, laughs, pleasure, trust & caring for each other. BANDIT:heart: got the short end of the deal because of my health & the strength she has shown me dealing with our down times makes me so pleased that I am blessed with such love. She has dealt with every problem that has come up with little fuss.
:rose:THANKYOU MY :heart:LOVE

Speaking of LIT Friends we are having a GnG in November 2009 so ask Orlanth, BANDIT:heart: or I about it, Hope to see lots of you comming this year.

Please send tell Gil we all said Hi and give him lots of hugs to make him feel better :rose:

Tomorrow it will be 5 years since I moved to Australia to be with Gil. We will probably have to celebrate it next week because of 2 days of speedway (Sat and Sun) and maybe dialysis on Monday - although he is talking of doing a short (5 hours) one on Sunday so we can go and watch the Australia Day fireworks at a nearby park.

That man has made me so very happy, of course I wish his health was better but that's the only thing that has been a problem for us in the past 5 years.

LOVE YOU SIR!

I often hear 20 somethings saying that they are giving up on finding love because the few times they have tried haven't worked  I'm so glad I & BANDIT:heart: don't have this "Just give up attitude" that abounds these days.

I do regret that we met when my health is bad & all kinds of problems happen.

When we met I had this song playing in my head ......

"You make me so very happy, I'm so glad you came into my life"

This song has played ever since.

Don't regret your bad health, Gil. Firstly, it's not your fault, secondly (while it might be a pain-in-the-bum for you both at times) Bandit loves you, so gets joy from caring and nursing you. Difficult/stressful circumstances often make or brake relationships. I have a feeling that it's made yours stronger, and so I'm sure you don't regret that. :rose:

Happy Australia Day to all Aussies :):rose:
Indeed!
HAPPY AUSTRALIA DAY!!

Happy Australia Day, My Fellow Aussies

Hope it's not too damn humid where you are...

Hi all, Happy Australia Day. Been quiet here, other than some mad fireworks. To celebrate our National Day, I have some pics (NOT taken by me):

And people wonder why I like chicks in wetsuits...this was supposed to have been taken off Bondi. It's called "paddleboarding" (no, Bandit, not THAT sort of paddle)

Pink (wet)suits her.

Smug and sexy...because of the wetsuit.

I don't think this pic has been photoshopped:

These two are waaaay more than friends:

Oh and a joke I got via email:

A young fellow is asked to take care of a friend's parrot while the friend went on a long holiday. To the young man's horror, the parrot turns out to be foul tempered and foul mouthed, insulting him, his girlfriend, his friends and visiting relatives, so much so his girl breaks up with him and the others refuse to visit.

After trying every trick he could think of, treating the parrot well, never swearing in front of it, and adopting every suggestion from anyone no matter how remote the chance of success, the bird got worse and worse and worse.

Finally in a fury at the parrot's uncanny ability to insult him where it hurt the most, the young man grabbed the parrot, and - avoiding the beak and the claws - stuffs the fighting bird into the freezer.

After several minutes of noise and commotion, the noise dies off. After waiting nearly 10 minutes, the young man fears the parrot has died, and hurriedly opens the lid. The parrot flies out in a most subdued and contrite fashion, and humbly says:

"I believe I may have offended you with my rude language and actions. I'm sincerely remorseful for my inappropriate transgressions and I fully intend to do everything I can to correct my rude and unforgivable behaviour.”

The young man was stunned at the change in the bird's attitude. As he was about to ask the parrot what had made such a dramatic change in his behaviour, the bird continued, “May I ask what the turkey did?”

Ozsteamer I have to admit as a surfer I am intrigued... what is it that you find sexy about girls in wetsuits? is it similar to a rubber fetish? or the fact the girls is wet?

I mean I'm all for them in winter else I'd freeze... but I much prefer to surf in my bikinis! Just asking out of curiousity I guess.

Stand up paddling is really fun on the flats, but we tested it out on a day with dumpy waves and it was pretty chaotic!

introducing ourself...

Hey all,

My girlfriend and I are very new to this, and I just came across this thread. We live in NSW near Sydney and would love to chat with fun, open Aussies!

I am submissive to a point (not into pure cuck!), and we are exploring fantasies we have both kept locked up for far too long. We are both mid twenties and very horny...so anyone willing to help open/expand our sexual experiences is welcome to us/her! hehehe :)

P.S.

How do I delete this account (sub_guy) and create a new account for the both of us?

BOY, all of the residents of Lit are now rushing to their keyboards in the FORLORN HOPE you will withdraw that question....
TOO LATE!

Yep, I'm on my favourite topic....and away we go!

is it similar to a rubber fetish? or the fact the girls is wet?

OK, it has an awful lot to do with the looks:

http://i100.photobucket.com/albums/m23/Ubercynicmeister/wetsuits/119e59c07f47891c.jpg

The wetsuit does three things simultaneously:

As you can see above, it shows the woman's shape (ALWAYS attractive) and emphasises her curves and highlights both the shapeliness and form of a woman's body;

The wetsuit gives a woman an appearance of being strong, muscular, athletic, sporty, willing to "give it a go", yet at the same time, she is presented as open , vulnerable and soft; cohesive, calm and co-ordinated, not distant, cold, untouchable, aloof as (say) a business suit would give the impression of.

The wetness (as you correctly note) and the combination of "apparel" which hides the woman's form, yet exposes it; the emphasis on the covering which is yet revealing; the supple blending of body with stylish "garment" which no other "clothing" achieves. The wetness also adds to the vulnerability.

Even a relatively flat-chested girl is shown to be more "womanly" in a wetsuit (or at least *I* think so.

"Rubber" fetish is similar I suppose, but I've never really been all that interested in things like latex or so.

I mean I'm all for them in winter else I'd freeze... but I much prefer to surf in my bikinis!

COUGH COUGH, stay in your wetsuit, PLEASE!

The thing to note is the way the wetsuit - unlike any other thing a girl can wear, provides an "all over hug" like a lover, caressing, soft, yet taut about the girl's body...

(click on below image to get full-sized picture)
http://i100.photobucket.com/albums/m23/Ubercynicmeister/wetsuits/th_Picture2.png

The above shot shows the wetsuited girl in her natural environment: unaware of how desirable she looks, and thus more desirable.

"Lastly" (and most are breathing a GENEROUS sigh of relief!)
http://i100.photobucket.com/albums/m23/Ubercynicmeister/wetsuits/SG25c.jpg
This girl shows how the wetsuit helps a girl show off her best points - her breasts, her thighs, her long legs, which go from here to there and back again, her arms and then there's the contrast in colour: her wetsuit is the complete opposite colour of her body, thus it shows and highlights the difference there, too.

Just asking out of curiousity I guess.

AHHH, you're trapped now, by your own question, YES, I can see you BEGGING for the answer to stop, please oh, stop!

As I have now officially BORED EVERYONE RIGID, i will stop there, except to add the following images:

I'd like to see you do that (in a wetsuit)...nice wetsuited massage afterwards, too.
