The Sydney Heads are the mouth of Sydney Harbour that are about one nautical mile wide. James Cook sailed past them in 1770 and missed seeing the most beautiful natural harbour in the world.

North Head is now a National Park full of xerophytic scrub. It used to house the Quarantine Station where sick people were landed from entering ships.

South Head is the HMAS Watson Naval Station just next door to Lady Jane Beach that is one of Sydney's nudie beaches. :)

That naughty twin has some work to do. I was hoping she'd be a guru by the time her Aussie lover returned.

Yeah, he's borrowing phones to call me. He doesn't have an international plan on his mobile, and there's no local access number from the cabin, so he can't use the phone in the common area. He asks to borrow and office for a bit to call. This morning I think he was in the Officer's Mess, using the back office there.

I'm pretty much floating today. It was such an awesome surprise! I've gotta get some major work done today and tomorrow so I can be slack on Friday. We're going to a cookout Saturday night, so he'll have some time to catch up on the forums. Oh, and remember that post that was troubling me? It was for me. :heart:
 
Black Books is back on ABC again (hopefully it isn't repeats) this Friday, I believe.

And yes, Peppermint, Shaun of the Dead is a very cool movie :).

urgh...i know it's a pain, i mean the cost to call US cell phones is just like calling land line phones so its ok, but calling oz mobiles from the US, the cost is ridiculous, thankfully my cell has a good international plan...cos, frankly lol i'm addicted to Him :D

I'm so glad you've only got at most two more days left, after that hopefully things will settle down for awhile babe, and you can just enjoy each other's company again :heart:
