well it finally happened-today, for the first time in 17 years, i wore a suit. and a tie.

i'm sorry to hear your day was so troubling

well it finally happened-today, for the first time in 17 years, i wore a suit. and a tie.
Bosses funeral today-was ok as far as funerals go.
Visited mum-found out exactly how bad the cancer was and whats happening. not sure still how much bowel they took out because she didn't ask. apparently if they didn't operate then she wouldn't have lasted till xmas. took her shopping as she cant drive-or even walk alot for a while.
left mums and got stopped by firetrucks-and the house that was on fire was someones i knew-parents of my sisters closest friend at school-fire in the roof. bit of deja vu-the same house had the roof burnt out from the same cause (electrical) about 27 years ago.
and to top it off i got flashed by a speed camera on the way home.
so i had a good day-how was everyone elses?

Sorry to hear about your mother, Wombo. I've seen what cancer can do to a person and it's not good but I wish her a speedy recovery.

I've had a very slow and boring day but I may end up heading in to see a movie tonight.
