Yours is the second recommendation for that film I have had..... the first was even more glowing and from someone who is a Kiwi bike rider himself!

Old Indian motorcycles are fantastic..... old friend had two vintage ones.....fully restored with side cars!

it was a classic bike he had, even better when you realise its all based on fact, the Record he set in 1967 still stands today.

the movie was really more about the guy then the bike.
you should see it if you get the chance

well thats sounds like a big deal-how'd that come about?

It was all a figment of their overactive imaginations, Batty, but it made for a laugh reading it over breakfast this morning! :)

many years ago the NSW bike cops used Indian sidecars & was told they were the only bikes that had reverse gear, nor sure how true that is as only seen pics etc, my mum used to ride a vincent black shadowm she also raced against guys too.

you would enjoy the movie Gil, in one seen they race down the beach in NZ on old Vincents, AJS, Nortons and a stack of other classics

strange... but there was no Hondas

I spent a good part of last night reading up on Burt and the things he achieved, very clever highly skilled man who could make anything out of anything, he even cast his own pistons from scrap metal and carved con rods out of the axles on a Caterpillar tractor

Hiya nostress, how are you on this cold afternoon?

im feeling great, did a claytons pub crawl today...you still do the pubs but drink very little so you can still ride home.
4 pubs, dozens of games of pool, counter lunch, and very few drinks.
was blowing a gale and a bitch to ride in but the rain held off till I was safely home

I think you may have left it a bit late for Burt to do.

we did have someone on Lit who was casting there own parts for replica locomotives.... cant think if it was Steamer or Don .....know it was a NSW male if that helps at all.
and from the photos I seen I am sure he could easly knock something up for the Cit
