For those who like DOOM 3, try QUAKE 4. Sweeter graphics, scary as hell, hard, horrific scenes which looks like DOOM 3. It has squads in the campaign, so you are not alone all the time.

QUAKE 4 is on PC and X-Box 360.

I heartily endorse your recommendation of Quake 4 - so far I'm maybe 1/2 way through it... but I can't play it while my arm's in this sling! Heading up to the hospital soon to find out just what they're gonna do to me...
