Mind you I did the big no=no and tried to start from the beginning of the family tree which ended up on me spending a year on getting all the facts right on the people in the photos lol
OMG!! That was an ambitious task. I just started with our engagment/ family portraits that were taken last December. If anything it has made me more aware of the photos I take now......The double page I did today was of my kids mucking around in the loungeroom the other night. It turned out alot better then I thought it would.

Everything I have read (all the mag subscriptions for the freebie paper and layout ideas) said to always start with something recent - so you did the right way - I did it the hard and long way and I lost interest for awhile there because of it - guess that's why they say to start with something that is fresh in your mind - a lot easier for journalling too!

They have some fantastic ones about at the moment. I read a few magazines but mainly I go with the photos. Atm I am on a Sepia photo binge...they matte up really nice with all colours that way
