Yes, the port featured in the show, as Bergerac (John Nettles - now in Midsummer Murders), was always meeting colleagues from the mainland, or watching for crims arriving or departing. Of course this was twentyfive or thirty years ago, I am guessing.

Bergerac was set, and filmed, in JERSEY, not Guernsey. We wouldn't have anything to do with such utter drivel!! Most of the scenes are set around Gorey harbour.

I see everyone was very interested that I was off camping again - think I'll just disappear next time and let you all wonder where the hell I got to! (I really am thinking you all care - deluded I know)

and Cad? I waited in those bushes for ages, and I kept going back just in case you hadn't seen me! and nothing!! oh unless you count lizards, frogs, flys and the occassional Wallaby......not quite the same as a Cad in the bush.......

and I know now why there was no pumpkin there as well - he was romping around with a Swede! God can you imagine the mess! Lucky no Turnips where there really - a threesome! (assuming none of them just lay there like a vegetable)

Can you tell I'm lonely here ? Where is everyone? Am I too early again? Think I'll go stare at my pinup of Pumpkin and do wonderful things to myself........

After 3 delays, my new computer has finaly been payed for and shipped and shall be here in between 3-7 workings days. I'm excited! I brought Quake 4 for my PC about a week before I went to hospital.My computer couldnt run it, but my new one can!!

Never to old to play computer games, well come on there is alot of games designed or the elder generation. That reminds me, in two months I'll buy an X-Box 360 Advanced. Anyone tried this gaming console and can recommand a game? Call of Duty 2 and Elder Scrolls IV look pretty sweet.
