Generally, it takes about three weeks for a person to get the hang of major changes in their lives. This takes longer if they can 're-fuel' the old patterns . . . ;)

i'm afraid it's more a case of, 'don't you think the TIMTAM should leave you alone for a couple of weeks? maybe you should tell him to do so.'

i bolted out of there today after telling him the truth.... he has been on the phone since... only reason he's not coming round is i have the car.
 
I know and I feel for you. There is a saying about anticipation which I can't remember but I know it is wrong. What is it?
