It could be that the particular forum skin you're using shows people who are online with the green circle thingy....

I believe the place you change it is a pull down box at the bottom of the page...

Okay here's a newbie question.
Why does my nick and Cad's nick have a green circle thingy but Australs doesn't?

A green circle thingie.....indicates to other users that you are online.......my "green circle thingie" being absent as it is means I run an invisible status....the red ones indaicate you are off line....



........and yes you can change the skins in your User Conrtol panel as well....make sure you click save changes though!!!!
