Theres the new National Bank headquarters and Watermark....bar where the kid works and where the meeting was held tonight.

Lots of big boats tied up alongside and a veiw across the water to NewQuay

evening Trev - so that is where I went wrong today - I should have worn a short skirt and then I wouldn't have had to take out the master cylinder.......

I spent a bit of time when I was in NSW checking out a few very nice boats at Nelson Bay, I wouldnt have enough money to fill the fuel tanks but it was nice to look and dream

That's what I liked about Freo when I was there...there were the floating gin palaces to gawk at and then there were the sensible boats......the lovely restored huon pine numbers....

Gotta agree with AW... Freo is a great place. Lots of pubs, places to eat and a gorgeous harbour.

when i was in pt Doug i went on a restored thai junk boat...all hand carved but with modern conviences...had all the old character ...loved it..well untill i got sea sick :eek:

Wanted to post a shot taken when I was there in April just to show how great it is............but it's toooooooo big a file....sulk!

there is a lots of gorgeous things in WA.

I really must make a big effort to get over that way next year

Hi davoo.... that's a pity hon. Luckily I live on the Fremantle train line, so it's just a short stagger from the local station back to my place... no worrying about driving over the limit. Lucky hey !!

I did a sunday pub crawl there about 15 years ago, my friends told me I had a great time :eek:
 
And now for my BIG news...

My newest grandson was born in the UK last night.

He was 4 weeks prem and delivered by emergency c-section, but is ok. Poor sweetie is still un-named, but already his gran loves him to bits.

Ain't life grand. :D
