If you are subscribed to the thread when you first log on you can go to User CP and there will a little box with a tick in it beside (before) the thread title, click on that and it will take you to the last unread (by you) post.....

...when actually on site I just refresh the page to see new posts

we are cruisy - we are a lovely bunch of people round here who really give a damm about what is happening in each others lives.

some of us have even met in real life.

Yeah he is fine, all his tests are fine so far. The doctor says he fainted - but people who faint usually breathe ( note the doctor wasn't there). He has had some further tests but it looks like a complication of his stroke - partial loss of some of his throat function. The doctor suggests that we lay him on the floor if it happens again and raise his feet, damm it if it happens again the only way I could get him to the floor is to shove him - he is a big, tall man. Of course the doctor suggested that we try to avoid the situation in which it happened again - so according to the doctor we should try to stop him laughing to much

Good to hear he is okay.
But not to laugh again.
