I just can't keep up with you all!!!

Please - I tried to catch up with the 50 or so pages (not posts - PAGES!) but I just lost track.

If anyone asked me anything that I did not respond to - please ask again in a PM.

This weekend was great:-
* Friday night - epic snorkel out to the cerberus.
* Saturday - prepping for our first birthday party
Out in the garden, collecting a set of drawers, cleaning windows, vacuuming
* Sunday - the party
great friends, great food, babies everywhere (we have 4 friends with kids around sebastian's age). Presents galore, and just the most relaxing time. My wife outdid herself organising it all.

For those that are interested - here's my log:-
Friday night I parked in front of the Red Bluff Hotel, geared up and made my way down to the beach (swearing that the access way was closed there due to unstable cliffs). By the time I got down after finding new stairs, I could see the Cerberus off in the distance to the south. This is an old ironclad wreck that used to be a great dive but is now off limits. I'd "done" her a few times, but was just planning to swim a few km's and snorkel around a rocky breakwater that I had seen from the road.

I didn't realise I was so close to the wreck, and she continued to call to me! And 45 minutes later after a LONG swim through dark waters, I was there...passing this fabulous little reef (I assume man made from rubble) in a direct diagonal line. The reef was full of old wives, and a variety of other colourful fish life, and every now and then I'd pass a huge starfish. Spent a lot of time on the bottom with the reef and the starfish' - about 5m judging from my ears and the distance to surface again.

The wreck itself is a great looming hulk - with huge numbers of shellfish now clinging to the wreck, and fish swimming around it, and underneath.

Exhausted, I made a beeline for the shore, and it was just getting dark as I trudged out of the water, and up the beach along a beautiful little cliff...

Henry - I envy those that drift off to sleep at a moments notice.

Me - a new idea pops into my head in the wee hours and I cannot help but focus on it until daylight, when I fall into catatonic sleep and miss my call on the streets, only to wake up an hour later and trudge off to work.

Life is good!

Great weekend, nice day, not too much on at work, great company (henry too!)

This weekend I'm off to SRT in Buchan. It's a great compliment to my cave diving, and I get to see some stunning scenery. Last time I got to abseil down a 40m drop, through a tunnel coated in crystal.

Dont' know what they have planned this time - but I hope I can also sell some of my harness gear (I sell caving and climbing harnesses on the side - been slowly building it up and will be advertising in some journals soon).
