Thanks LB the teddy is really cute - I'll show it to him.

We're having a family dinner tonight and a party on sunday for his friends (who will all no doubt be asleep at different times, need food at different times, vomit at different times!)

Should be fun!

The highlight was seeing LADYBIRD has changed her AV ...Thats alway pleasing to see her personal AV's and only 12c to yum yum yum yum :p

Q D.....Your talking about your collection made me remember as a kid we went to the Enterance/Long Jetty area for all our holidays and there were so many second hand swap stores with any type of comic you could think of and I had a collection of car racing comics speedway, roadrace, bushdashers, drag racres and others as this was where my pocket money went. The sad bit is My dad chucked all my stuff out when ever he felt like it didn't matter it was all pact away in MY room out of sight.I've lost some things that are now worth big bucks.GRRRRRRRR with his loss of memory he denies doing any of it.

Afternoon everyone. :)

I am working on the book I am writig, so I may be slow to post. :)

HI orlanth

Just one piece of advice while you're writing:-

"feel the force - don't give in to hate"

GIVING AWAY COMICS

Hi gil

slick av.

you don't scrub up half bad after all

I was similar

I "left" a huge collection in hall's gap at the proprety where the ballarat children's home used to take their kids (my mother was a carer there)

you now what was really funny?

I think the actual line from the movie is:-
"Feel the force, Luke. Don't give in to hate"

THis is when he was zipping down the trenches on the death star in the first movie, getting freaked out (I think)

then he went all zen calm, and shot those big missiles into that narrow little crevice and blew the whole thing up.

That's not what was really funny

REally funny for me was the guy I knew in my class called luke who used to always get shitty with experiments.

So in the middle of 1st year lab classes he'd crack it, and I'd yell:-
"Feel the force, Luke. Don't give in to hate"

Well - I guess you had to be there.

When Luke was going to blow the Death Star, Obi Wan didn't say "don't give into hate." He ays soething along the lines of feel the force and trust your feelings"

I think the 'don't give into hate." is before Luke goes of to face Darth Vader in The Empirer Strikes Back.

Hey Tony

but my dad did this often to me and my sister it didn't matter the value we had on things it was only woth keeping if he saw some value to him and he had more junk laying around the house than us kids did....AND he wondered why I took off at 15 and my sister at 16

Afternoon evrybody
Firstly THANKYOU to Dragonette for fixing an av for me! Sorry I got confused about who posted the pics for me, a big long massage for you if you want to make up for it!:rose:

Secondly Talking about collections i have the full set of Hoops '93-'94 basketball cards series 1 and 2. I am proud of those they probably aren't worth much but i am the only person i know who actually bothered to collect a whole set.

Lastly I noticed star wars is on tv this weekend if anyone is interested, well it is in Adelaide anyway.

Bye for now might be back later

off soon

Hey gil, herc

Gil - it's a sad state of affairs that typical aussie mums and dad's fwith kids in the 50's,60's,70's were so keen to get rid of them anyway.

My wife's family stayed on UNTIL they were married - and my BIL went BACK at 40/. after divorce.

Orlanth - thanks oh jedi master for correcting me - the memory is a wee bit dim! I still chuckle fondly about the hours in the lab though!

Yeah, for us Aussies, all four Starwars movies gets played one each Sundaty night.

Last Sunday was The Phantom Menace.
This Sunday is A New Hope.
Next Sunday is Empire Strikes Back.
And the Sunday after that is Return of The Jedi

Evening all

hope the weather and day is treating everyone well.

Yup, its "trust your feelings", following which he turns off his targeting computer, answers questions from R2 and the rebel controlers as to why. and proceeds to blow up the Death Star with shots from his torpedos.

Triva question: Which charater was in all three movies but was not a major character.

hint: survived two attacks on the Death Star and actually takes credit for destroying the second one.

btw, Phantom Farce does not qualify as a Star Wars movie, we have more taste than that. :p

Hello aussies

This is my first time on this thread, I finally gave into my desire to meet aussies - I always meet lovely ones in RL so maybe it's the same here! I have relatives in Aus and would love to meet anyone from Austrailia at all, really, I love your accents, especially saying certain words . . . My first and only phone experience was with an Austrailian, wow, thank you nsw, awesome, if you are ever on this thread, send me a PM!
Anyway, straying off the point a bit, I just want to say hi, and is there anyone from Melbourne here, I have a strong urge to go there, and see the spiritual carvings of some guy in a forest somewhere outside of the city, that's all I know, Billy Connolly went there!
PM if you would like to chat, male or female, I love anything and everything!
Especially cuddling, laughing, masturbating . . .:p
