Wombat I know the feeling.....you'd rather be with someone who treats you like crap than be alone. But there's a difference between being alone and happy and being lonely and living with someone who makes you so unhappy.

I left my marriage 3 months from our 24th anniversary. I found living alone to be a great experience, after getting over the first week of wondering where my life was going to go from there. I spent that almost 2 years learning about ME and learning to enjoy life again. I really didn't realise how lonely I had been living with someone I really had nothing in common with apart from the farm and the children. Plus he was emotionally abusive to me, even though Mr Dimwit would never see it that way I'm sure.

LB is right, do what you need to do to make yourself happy. Life's too short! :rose:

I am fine thanks - a little sunburned from a day in the park with friends and a heap of kids. May have a touch of sunstroke actually

Sun? I seem to remember that. I saw it for a couple of days over the weekend, then it disappeared and rain fell out of the sky.

Sunstroke?? Are you trying to make me jealous woman? ;)

nope just stating the facts - I have a really sunburned nose and cheeks and now feel inexplicably nauseous - so I am figuring on sunstroke.


But it was a perfect day here.


All reports from the wee state are that - it is cool of a night but the days are very pleasant.

Perfect is good, there's not enough of it is there hon? Sounds like it's ok in the wee state also.
 
thanks to everyone for their concern and advice on my relationship with my wife-i may have painted a darker pic than it actually is tho! yes we see little of each other, yes our sex life is not very active, yes i'm sometimes miserable. but mostly i'm fine-just horny and unsatisfied! we do have a communication problem to work on as well. there are a couple of other little issues as well

definately not enough perfect days, but it is looking like it may be a nice summer here in Vic, although it could be a little dry.
