It's not long away, so we all need to talk to each other and work it out. IM would be the best, I can use MSN, ICQ, or AOL, so what's easier for you, and Nostress?
I have MSN, Trev is not available until next weekend seeing that he is in Tassie. He can also use ICQ - maybe wait until he comes back and talk to him, you two can make decisions and I will be a good woman (just this once) and do as I am told :D

Don't forget Xstatic wanted to come too.

That's right, so that is 5 people going along.

Did I hear my name???

I'm available on MSN (also on Yahoo, but no-one's mentioned that...) - so I'm sending a PM with my Hotmail address.

The countdown continues... 19 days to the G&G!

Sorry I left last night, my computer decided to crash, spent half of today to get it back up. If I didn't waste my money on the trip to Sydney then I would be on a new computer which would reliable. This oneeee here is 4 years old and is about as reliable as my abilty to walk, lol!

If we are all on MSN again tonight, we should continue our plan.

I've just built myself a new computer (AMD Athlon 64 3000+) -but owing to my inability to get windows xp updated (apparently i'm using pirated software) i'm still using my old pentium 3 800. I think i might have to bite the bullet and buy a copy of windows-i have to say that hurts!

If you know where to go, you can buy 100% legitent and bran-nw copies of Windopws XP for a good affordable price. It pays to shop around.

AMD, I feel nothing but pity for your choice in CPUs. I geuss you use *shudders* nVidia too?

To each his/hers own.

After October I'm going to save up to buy what looks like will be Pentium 4 3.0 (or 3.2) gHz, 1 GB DDR RAM, 256 PCIe ATI Radeon X700 Pro.

Not the best systm, but way better then the old peice of junk I use now. Which is an AMD Duron 1 ghz, 512 MB SD RAM, 128 MB ATI Radeon 9600 AGP x8 (running at x4).

I would truly love4 to top of the line, but it is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to much. My brother got a computer near the top of the line, and it cost $4,000 wholesale. I don't need a super computer, just one to do what I want and not need to fix for 2 years.

i also would have loved a top of the line-but again price held me back. mine is a Athlone64 3000+ on a socket 939 board, 256 mb nvidea 6600gt, 1 gig ram and a 200 gb hard drive-runs much faster than my p3 800, 40gb hard drive, 512 mb ram and onboard 64 mb graphcs!

Hey everybodies.....

I'm just back from a relaxing weekend with Picacho. We can now add 2 more pubs to our list of 51.. t'was that kind of a weekend. :D

Hope you're all well and happy... I'm off for a bit to do some laundry. Seeya.

Hardly a piece of junk if your motherboard is decent, heck I still have my old Duron spitfire 950 (clocked at 1064) half gig SD, 128MB geforce FX5200 sitting about half a foot to the right of my right leg and it still copes alright with most things I can throw at it... piece of junk indeed.

Then again this system clocks in at an athlon xp 2400+ thinking it's a 2700+, with half a gig of DDR, and a 128MB Geforce 6200AGP and it often outperforms my housemate's machine (he likes his watercooling).

Don't go thinking that higher numbers or costs make a better machine, they don't. Heck if I had 4 grand I'd have myself a couple of nice flat panels as well as a nice hi-spec system, one display just isn't enough these days.

And wombat, you don't need to have a 'legit' copy of windows to update, just let it download them automatically. Although if you want to install SP2 and your key's blacklisted then you might want to get yourself another key, after that you can let it stream the updates. It's what I do (I just reinstalled on my duron yesterday.) and it works.

Anyway, enough flexing for now, I'm going to hunt food to the wonderful sounds of aPerfectCircle.
