Doin' OK Bertie . . . had a win on Friday . . . we unseated our Mayor of the last five years . . . there were certain matters of failure in fiduciary duty . . . not to mention some "interesting" dealings involving the sale of allegedly contaminated public property to supermarket developers that left rateoayers holding unlimited liability for subsequent contamination, rather than liability passing to the new owners . . .

now what developer worth his profit margin would pass by a deal where they get over $2 million worth of prime commercial land for a mere $1????

Not only am I speechless, like Bertrande and some of the others, but alarmed at the number of councils that are now under suspicion of similar 'deals' and or corruption. It is bad enough trying to accept some of their petty power decisions without the growing festering carbuncle of corruption oozing puss on to the community is supposedly serves.
Do you get the feeling I am upset?

hope everyone has had a good day.
mine was better than the last week - methinks my mouth may finally be playing the cooperation game in that it now only takes 6 painkillers a day to keep pain-free (as opposed to 10 of the BIG ones i was on all last week!)
i still can't open my mouth fully (so BJ's are out of the question for a while still!), but i am finally able to eat soft-solid food

my kidleys are all back to school tomorrow, so i am looking forward to a day off - maybe wednesday - to sit back, relax and catch up on some well-earned rest!

then next monday, i'm back at the maxillo-facial surgeons office for a checkup and to have a couple of pins and 15 stitches taken out. YAY! not....

I hate the fact that works gets in the way of my social life..

Well what do you want to know about the loverly Valia she lives in Sydney,is shy & was born overseas (this explains her short posts),has a beautiful body (those that saw it will verify this claim but before you race off all the pics are gone),she is a loverly lady to get to know,she does enjoy LIT but still exploring it all.

Whatever you feel, I empathise with you, but just bear in mind it will all be better soon and you can look back at it as one of life's experiences....

I've been busy colouring my hair and it's now a rather violent shade of red - the lighter streaks I had in it took up more colour than I expected. However Gil likes it

It's also been cut short and spiky on top which he isn't too keen on, he calls it "dykey" and is lamenting that there isn't much to grab hold of....

Bandit - I like the sound of your hair colour, mine is currently a deep, deep shade of red with some slightly lighter red streaks (for the same reason). Although it does sound like yours is a whole lot brighter than mine.

We went to Fasta Pasta - kids eat free on Mondays and Tuesdays, so it cost me $10 for pasta, icecream and drinks (drinks aren't free) for 4 kids. And a measly $37 to feed me and the ex and a couple of drinks as well. It's a pretty good deal really.
