What a downer this miserable weather is

My sister has only days left till she goes home to beautiful Canada
and I'm facing facts that this is likely the last ever time we will have.
A very happy and sad time for me.
My daughter,grandaughter,her b/f,my cousin who has MS and her hubby,my sister and nephew,mum amd dad all had a very wonderful day bonding with each other.
My cousin with MS is also trying to cope with her dad dying with cancer but many miles away from her and she can't be nearer to him as she can't travel that far to be with him in his last days.
What a screwed up lot my family is.
My daughter was just a baby about 18 months old last time she met my sister and had never met my 16yo nephew.
Anyway the weather has bummed out the plans we had for the last few days of visit with her flying out Sunday.
I miss her already

Honey, don't cling to the sadness, but fill your mind and memory with all of the wonderful things that have happened to you recently.

Include in that your daughter, grand daughter, and grandbub on the way.

It's been a wonderful time for you, and your memories will last a lifetime, if you let them.

Start jotting down memories of things that have happened while your sister was here. Then they won't disappear.. you'll have them there with you.

My day was sport focused - well actually kids and baby sitting while others went off to do sport - but hey I'm not complaining too much. Time with the kids is good even a few domestic chores isn't a prob.

LB - What r u going to do when the clocks change. Goingto throw you out allover again.

Redblooded when they change the clocks back again, I'm going to throw a party.. celebrate.. rejoice.... and get drunk!!

A three hour time difference is a real pain in the neck. I have an insurance claim about to be settled... in Sydney of course. So every time I think to phone up and see how it's progressing, the girl I need to speak to is either at lunch or has gone home... it's just toooooo hard.

And you know don't you buster that I'm coming over to Sydney end of next month... you'd better have a hug ready for me!

Draconian, in a former life, I worked in a telephone call centre.. I was expected to answer my customers question, sell them something, and complete the order in 320 seconds. You learn to type fast!!
