Hello everyone..

... by golly you lot can talk! It took me ages to read thru and catch up!

Yes I was up until 4.00am, waiting to hear from my daughter. She's caught the same bug as me, but last night had a temp of 39c, not a good thing for a pregnant lady.

So she went into the emergency section of her local hospital. After waiting 5 hours, her temp came down, so she just left. It's pathetic isn't it.

My frequently vanishing daughter has done it to me again after months of chasing her and trying to find where she is she rings up! suprise,surprise, suprise !!!! I should expect this as it's happened so many times over the years but it gets harder and harder to accept the hurt I feel when I don't know where she is or whats happening with her,her b/f and my grandaughter who will have a brother by June this year if all goes well.

Gil sometimes you don't know whether to hug them or hit them do you.

I think being a parent is a tough job, that just never ends, cos you never stop loving your kids, no matter what.

Just make the most of her while you have her with you hon. Enjoy all of the time that you can with your grand daughter, and look forward to the birth of your grandson.

Despite it all, you still have a lot to look forward too.

And you're not alone in the young grandparent stakes, I'll be a granny in June and then again in July. And I can't wait.
