Wayyyyy out of his league.

Hiya Don, how's thing with you my friend?

Morning people
had lots of good news yesterday. the main one being about my EXs cancer, it looks like the surgery was succesfull and now she only has to do one chemo once a week for 6 months they are still doing more tests so keep your fingers crossed. it has been a hectic the last week or so because of some problems with a mystery blood loss and at one stage I was trying to work out how I was going to explain to the kids that there mother was terminaly ill as the doctor explain that it was a possabilty to me but told no one else....hell of a secret to keep

second good news after two months I have finally got my car back from the mechanic and its running great. I also lashed out and ordered a new computer last night its my little gift to me for all the overtime hours I have worked, its 80gig hard drive 512 RAM P4 3.2 processor, DVD burner. kids seem happy with it.

I also have my Woy Woy friend flying down today for a week, she is having a lot problems and just needs to get away to rest for a bit, she had to get permission from her docs to come here, she is not allowed to pick up large amounts of her anti depresants as they are worried about her overdoseing so I have it aranged that she can pick it up from the local chemist on a daily bases she will also recieve phone calls from her counciler just to check up on her every day.

hopefully after this week things will slow down and I will have some free time to do as I please.....or better still to try and please someone else from this thread

Try a lot of walking exercise . . . about an hour a day, even in tow or three sessions has been found to reduce depression . . . ;)

thats great advice, hard to beat a walk to clear the head and make you appreiate what you do have. unfortunitly one of her major problems is her feet she is unable to walk more then a short distance without massive pain, hence she had to quit work and most of her social activities.

It's great news about your ex - having to explain that to your kids would be one of the worst things a parent can do.

Great news about your car - it won't be so bad hitting the road when it's raining and you can actually travel somewhere with the kids. Mine is still doing bizarre stuff, every time the mechanic gets in it, it runs like a dream.

New computer - kid's should be happy with it.

Good luck with your friend - depression is no fun, no fun at all.

Free time - YAHOO :nana: :nana: :nana:

OK, that makes it interesting . . . the object is to get her body to burn up the nasty chemicals that are causing her problem . . . a long motorbike cruise thrugh the country . . . or better still, horse riding . . . got to EXERCISE to burn those chemicals up . . . good luck!! ;)

.

Thanks to hose who helped.

And Nostress, sounds like a good computer. I would have doubled the RAM though.

Nostress, here is what my new computer will be:

Intel Pentium 4 3.6gHz
2 GB DDR RAM
ATI Radeon X800XT 256 MB video card
5.1 Surrond Sond Card with speakers
2 times 80 GB hard drives
CD-ReWriter
DVD-ReeWriter

I will get this beast ofter I finish buying my gaming corner.

No problem. It was an absolute pleasure to flame the idiot. I have been a little stressed out the last week and a half so it helped to blow off a bit of steam. :)

Well it's evening here in the US, but I'm an honorary Aussie. How are you doing today?
yeah sorry, I forgot the time difference.

I am doing fine, except for a house full of noisy kids. aaaaarrrghhh

I was up late last night, early am 19th April for you guys, reading a couple of threads about the 10 year anniversary of the Oaklahoma City bombing. It's amazing to think that 10 years has passed since it happened

That's alright.

Good to hear you're doin' fine. Heh. Glad I don't have to put up with alot of noise here.

Still the 19th here on the east coast. *chuckles* Has it really been 10 years? Doesn't seem like it.

Naughty Riddle

Here is a riddle for the true intellectual. Try to
come up with the answer on your own... The
answer is at the end for those who are unable
to think this one through!!

At the exact same time, there are two young
men on opposite sides of the earth: One is
walking a tight rope between two skyscrapers;
the other is getting a blow job from an 85 year
old woman. They are both thinking the exact
same thing. What are they both thinking?

ANSWER:

Don't look down. Don't look down. Don't look
down..

I do remember as it was 10 years ago I was waiting to travel to the US & CANADA for my 3 month holiday.
