Well I'm glad you've returned. It's always a case of the more the merrier here. Enjoy.

Hiya Kiss... I've just been told by picacho that I'm expensive. I'm taking it as a compliment no matter how it was intended. How's life been treating you today?

Ahhhh yes . . . but quality is always preferred . . . and never cheap and nasty . . . and "yer gits wot ya pay fer" . . . maybe picacho is batting out of his league . . . or just being complimentary . . . ;) :D

SCUMBAG good to see you settling into the AUSSIE thread & she did post it was great/fantastic but the way we have been turning the pages over here it's likely got lost but your right a much more indepth report is needed.

Dear Scumbag and Gil,

Bette Milder was the most absolutly fantastic marvalous excellent terrific show i have been too in my entire short life. It was a very tounge in cheek caberet style performance she delivers jokes, even old ones in such a way you'd think it was the first time you had ever heard them. And her singing was so gorgeous i cried when she sang "wind beneath my wings" to hear her do it live was overwhelming. It was a great night of singing and dancing and laughter i would reccommend it to everyone!

love Loquita

Is that indepth enough for you? :p :D :p

Yeah I saw that Gil, but like you was hoping for the indepth. Especially some of the oldies... I dont know if you like a bit of Jazz, but next weekend we have Jazz and being in S.A. wine as well down at Langhorne Creek. Taste all the different wineries, eat some of the local produce and laze around listening to Etype Jazz... what a hard life.

For those that dont know the band

www.etypejazz.com

Have a look they have 7 albumns now I think!

I do like jazz a lot & lean more to the big band type & I grew up in a household with dad blaring out jazz because of his poor hearing (thinking back my sister's & my music was always to loud for him), I haven't been for a few years but used to attend the Manly jazz weekends with several venuses & lots of great bands.

Can we take it from your report that it was just OK

(only joking)

I did think that she makes so much more effort to entertain the paying public that most others I've seen over the years.

Manly is a great gig . . . so are the Bellingen Jazz Festival (3rd weekend in August) and the Newcastle Jazz Festival (usually last weekend in August). Merimbula and Parkes are other good venues, but don't know the dates.

Then the Australian Jazz Convention between Christmas and New Year is the longest running Christmas party in the world . . . at Lismore NSW this year , I believe . . . must get more details . . . that is just down the road about 350 km . . . ;)

heheheheh . . . I even played the 1988 Sydney Convention . . . :D  :D

Hi DON & how I regret no being able to travel without making massive plans & organising my treatment goods for even staying at a friends place as i'd love to be able to take BANDIT  on a holiday around NSW showing her the sites & of course taking flashing & nudie pics as we go.

Hey DON you would love the last speedcar show of the season as I was talking to several of the drivers about the good old days where the fast guys come from the back, the club took it in & are running a 50lap race to go with it, there are drivers comming from all the east coast clubs NSW,VIC & QLD as well as a few KIWIS too.

evening all :)

had a good day today - plans within plans, getting studio up and going as we speak.
but i am making damn sure i only have to work a 3/4 day week! no more 7 day stretches for me - been there, done that, got the burn marks to prove it.

how's the day been for all?
just got back on to find multiple pm's condemning me for my post on the aussie holocaust thread (GB).
damn, these yanks and brits take the bait every single time!!! :D

I remember way back when several of us Aussies upset the GBers so much they invaded this thread but they didn't last long to much brain power needed to cope with us here.

Glad to hear the shop is up & ready to run as it has been your desire for a long time.

BANDIT  sends licks, hugs & kisses for you & she is feeling frisky after her coffee time this arvo with AKASHA.

All that posting lately must have tuckered them all out..........

Hi Wombat! Enjoying your conversation?
